Paul Newman broached subject

OSCAR-winner and American Idol alumna Jennifer Hudson is about to release her own album, and says she has Whitney Houston to thank for saving her career. Paul Newman broached the subject of his philanthropic legacy several years ago while fishing with friends Robert Forrester and David Horvitz off the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Duchovny had by this time gained much notoriety - and a Golden Globe - for his portrayal of Hank Moody in Californication, the Showtime series about a writer who happens to have lots and lots. But in this era of Red Sox and Patriot Nation, one team can still draw a crowd, still generate electricity, still ignite the passion of Brown alums. Angry comics with a gaping hole in their program to fill are not a pretty sight. The NFLs top passing offense collides with one of the best passing defenses in the league so far this year on Sunday, when Drew Brees and the high-flying New Orleans Saints battle Justin Smith and the San Francisco 49ers at the Superdome.
